Kenyan marathoner Daniel Wanjiru has been provisionally suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit; AIU for use of a prohibited substance.
Wanjiru clinched the 2016 Amsterdam Marathon and the 2017 London Marathon titles.
The 27-year-old cannot participate in any competition until a hearing has taken place.
According to AIU, Wanjiru, a two-time Prague Half Marathon winner in 2015 and 2016, is accused of breaching Article 2.2 of World Anti-Doping Rules as far as Athlete Blood Passport is concerned, after irregularities were detected in his samples.
