Kiharu MP Ndindi and his Nominated colleague, Maina Kamanda, had a heated exchange this morning at Parliament Buildings, Nairobi.

The two and a host of other top leaders were in the precincts of Parliament to view the body of former President Mwai Kibaki.

In a video seen by Litkenya.com, Ndindi protested after Kamanda intentionally refused to greet him.

After his arrival, the Nominated MP walked to where the Kiharu lawmaker and other leaders were. He snubbed Ndindi.

Ndindi, who was prepared for a handshake with Kamanda, confronted him even as he stretched his hand, perhaps hoping that the Nominated legislator would change his mind.

However, Kamanda was not interested.

Kamanda and Nyoro are political enemies, with the former supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta and the latter backing Deputy President William Ruto.

Earlier, the President was welcomed to Parliament Buildings by his estranged deputy to lead the country in viewing the body of his predecessor.

The Head of State avoided a handshake with his principal assistant, instead bowing and walking away.
