The director of an organisation going by the name Kisumu town residents voice Audi Ogada condemned Patel for flouting labour laws when dealing with his employees. Ogada, a former aide late combative Kisumu mayor Lawrence Oile pleaded with Patel to address the pertinent matters raised by the workers. Ogada in the petition said that Patel has been thriving on dishonesty, using power excessively, breach of trust, abuse of the rule of law, non compliance to labour regulations, and threatened to move to court over the matter.
