KOT and why Room 350 is trending

Since dawn, famous topic Room 350 has been trending on the interwebs for not so good reasons.

According to the allegations online, DP Ruto has a reserved room in his controversial Weston Hotel where nominations are dashed out.

On the now trending topic, Kenyans on Twitter have joined the conversation and here is why room 350 is trending today.

However, some of the close allies to DP William Ruto have dismissed the allegations online.

The room 350 narrative is an obvious failed idiotic attempt to discredit various politicians. Use of sexuality to discredit people is found in an old dusty strategy playbook. Elect whoever you wish, but don’t give false witness against any politician. This is a very cold year. ⚖

While renowned feminist Ciku Muiruri dismissed the room 350 topic saying its against women.

The misogyny on this app is truly disgusting. Any excuse to call a woman a ho and they gleefully jump on it. So Room 350 is #trending to discredit ANY woman who runs on a UDA ticket? 🤔😏 I hope Ruto gets votes for this.
