Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has left his political friends and foes in shock after posting a coded message on her social media platforms.
“Kaba Mwena Wa Ngai (God’s side is the best), my friend Musa Moses Kuria you had seen very far,” she said.
The firebrand lawmaker tagged Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, who a few months ago was saying he is not aligned to any of the big political formations. Kuria, who has since joined Deputy President William Ruto’s camp, would say “God’s side is the best”.
Being that season, Kihika’s post was viewed with political lenses.
Why did she use Kuria’s tagline? Is everything okay, politically speaking? Has she being denied the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket?
These are some the questions Kenyans are asking.
Kihika has expressed interest in the Nakuru governorship on a UDA ticket.
Some people now assume that she has been shortchanged.
“We told you people jubilee is the only home that belongs to us, but were too clever to understand, but all is not lost, welcome back home, even the prodigal son was welcomed never mind plundering his wealth,” Mbugus James said.
Again, “God’s side is the best” sounds like a motivational quote, so probably she is consoling herself.
It is widely expected that Kihika will be given a direct ticket since she did not have a competitor to sweat it in recent UDA nominations.
“It seems even Mt.Kenya UDA very loyal members, likes of nyoro,Ichungwa,Alice, Gachagua deep down their hearts they know UDA has owners and they being played,” Elijah Maina noted.
Kihika is of the pioneers of UDA and she has always been highly-regarded in the wheelbarrow party.
A few weeks ago, she also rang an alarm after someone she did not mention branded her a political double agent in UDA.
‘I have been falsely accused of many things in my political career, but never of being a Jubilee mole in UDA. Anyway, it’s the high octane political season where anything goes.”
