Let Kenyans Elect Leaders Without Coercion – DP RutoDeputy President William Ruto has seemingly responded to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s warning to Kenyans against electing thieves in 2022.

Speaking in Illasit, Loitoktok and Kimana towns in Kajiado county, DP Ruto said Kenyans should be allowed to elect their leaders freely without coercion.

“The contest must be free of blackmail, threats, and intimidation,” said Ruto.

Speaking at Kimana Christ the King Catholic Church and A.I.C. Church Loitoktok, Dr Ruto castigated attempts to use intimidation to influence the 2022 succession race.

“It is your vote that will determine if you will have food on the table tomorrow. Support a candidate and a party that will address your challenges,” he said.

DP Ruto urged voters not to bow to pressure from people in power keen to influence the outcome of elections.
