Businesswoman Lilian Nganga has spoken in front of the cameras for the first time since her much-publicised breakup with Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.
Here she divulged many things that have happened since they parted ways and announced the same on social media.
Flanked by her lawyer Senior Counsel Philip Murgor, Lilian claimed that she has been receiving threats from the county boss.
In her own words, she said the governor wants to “finish and crush me to ash”.
Lilian, who has instituted a legal suit against Mutua, said she was never married to him and theirs was a “come we stay” arrangement.
Since the separation, she said the governor has been intimidating her with all manner of tactics, including raiding her house and “stealing” her car.
“Without my knowledge or consent and using a spare key which he had illegally obtained, he drove away with my personal motor vehicle KBY 186G – a car which had been fully registered in my name since 2014. Mr. Mutua proceeded to fraudulently transfer the ownership of the car in the logbook into his name, and thereafter sold the vehicle to a third party,” she said, adding that the matter is pending in court.
“Along with the same fraudulent conduct, Mr. Mutua recently and illegally transferred my shares in A&L Hotel (which they jointly owned) to his sister Ann Mbandi. Again, a dear act of fraud.”
She said she had a 45 percent shareholding at the establishment, which they launched last year.
In addition, Lilian mentioned that the former government spokesperson is demanding all the money he invested in her.
According to her, Mutua has threatened to finish all the people to her, including her current boyfriend, rapper Juliani.
“I requested him for a mature and amicable separation and reminded him that after all, we were never married. Mr. Mutua angrily termed me as his enemy number one.”
In a recent interview with the Standard, Mutua claimed that he and Lilian have been on good terms since the breakup.
“I’ve seen Mr. Mutua state in print and social media that we are still friends, and our separation has been amicable. These are his usual theatrics. Mr. Mutua and I have not spoken since late August 2021,” she said.
Calling the police to investigate the matter and give her protection, Lilian demanded that Mutua return her property.
