Premier League table produced interesting results on matchday 30 as the 2019-20 season returned after a three-month break.

Everton nearly recorded their first Merseyside derby win in nine matches as the Goodison side outfit delayed Liverpool’s quest for their Premier League title in 30 years.

Man City stood strong in second following their comfortable 3-0 over Arsenal in midweek but Leicester City who are in third dropped points at Watford.

And now Chelsea have closed the gap on the Foxes with just three points separating them after recording their first away win in the calendar with a 2-1 victory over relegation battlers Aston Villa.

Man United’s top-four quest was slowed-down after dropping points at Tottenham as Wolves sealed the points against West Ham to go level on points with United.

The bottom-three place remained unchanged as Norwich City’s 3-0 loss to Southampton kept them further in the 20th position.

Bournemouth also lost to Crystal Palace at the Vitality Stadium but still stay a point above Aston Villa in 19th place and are level on points with West Ham.

Arsenal lost their second match in as many days after Neil Maupay scored the match-winner right at the death to secure a 2-1 win.
