Over 800 families in Mai Mahiu in Naivasha Nakuru County have vowed to stop any further activities on the ongoing construction of the Standard Gauge Railway in Mai Mahiu Naivasha until they are fully compensated. The families claim they are yet to receive any compensation two years down the line after they were evicted to pave way for the two multi-billion projects.
