Maina Kageni Reveals His Dream Job, Asks Uhuru For a Favour

Radio sensation Miana Kageni has disclosed that he would like to be appointed to a government job once he leaves the mic.

He wished that President Uhuru Kenyatta could make his dream come true before he retires next year.

“I need to be appointed before Uhuru exits the office,” he said.

While some media personalities and bloggers such as comedian Jalang’o and Xtian Dela are seeking elective positions, Kageni stated that he would rather be a state appointee than a political leader.

He was speaking to his co-host Daniel Ndambuki (Churchill) in their morning breakfast show where he said that he preferred an ambassadorial job in countries like Switzerland and United States.

“I have never thought of a political seat, never ever, I can’t even think about it. I am going to be an ambassador.”

“I want to be a diplomat in a foreign nation save for Gabon. My plan will always be to be an ambassador,” he said.

He, however, observed that the chances of getting such jobs were minimal and one could only be appointed after meeting the President to explain themselves.

Kageni’s former workmate Larry Asego, who quit the radio job at Classic 105, was appointed Press and Communications officer at the French Embassy in Kenya. Asego is a fluent French speaker and even taught at Alliance Francaise, Nairobi for 12 years. He was also a part-time lecturer at Riara University.
