Despite Wazito FC owner Ricardo Badoer giving reasons why he sacked 11 players, Kenya Football Coaches Association (KEFOCA) chairman Robert Matano has not taken up the matter lightly.
Last week the businessman who acquired Wazito FC in 2018 revealed he had to release the players because they had failed to live up to expectations and were signed without his approval.
Among them included custodian Steven Njunge, midfielder Teddy Osok, forwards Victor Ndinya, Pistone Mutamba, Derrick Otanga, goalkeeper Kevin Omondi, Paul Acquah from Ghana, DR Congo’s Piscas Kirenge, Augustine Otu of Liberia, and Togolese Issifou Bourahana.
The club owner who loves using the “F” word whenever his team loses a match is now on receiving end from the coaches body.
