Solomon Ngatia, a convict serving 30 years’ jail term at Nakuru GK Prisons, scored 403 marks in the just released Kenya Certificate of Primary Education ( KCPE) results.
The 37-year old-man, was convicted in 2012 for attempted murder charge, where he explained he was a class 7 dropout.

A report by KTN news, narrates his excitement on receiving the KCPE results where he stated;
“I am happy, this however, is beyond my expectation, despite the condition here I emerged the best.”
The convict said teachers at the facility contributed a lot towards his success. He explained that he wanted to pursue secondary education in order to achieve his dream of becoming a doctor.
