Military Helicopter Crashes And Bursts Into Flames in Kajiado – LitKenya

A military chopper has this morning, 24th June, crashed at Ol Tepesi in Kajiado County.

The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) confirmed the incident through its official social media handles.

“Today, at around 0900hrs, an MI 17 1e Air Force helicopter, on a training mission crash-landed at the Ol Tepesi area, Ngong in Kajiado County.

“Rescue missions are underway,” the statement reads.

It was not immediately clear the number of officers who were in the plane and their ranks.

According to videos circulating online, the helicopter burst into flames shortly after crash-landing.

A huge fire and smoke can be seen from the scene.
