Peter had last visited his family over the 2019 Christmas period and his remains were buried far away from home and his father had hoped his family would pay him last respects soon after the pandemic ended.
“He was with us since Christmas and returned to the States mid-January. We had no idea that was the last time we would see our son alive,” Peter’s mum, Mary said.
The late bishop would be laid to rest on Saturday, July 4, at his rural home in Kabondo Kodumo, Rachuonyo, Homa Bay county.
