The county government of Mombasa plans to ban Tuk-Tuks and matatus in its central business district, in a raft of measures aimed at mitigating against adverse effects of climate change. The county is opting for Bus Rapid Transit System, citing the Tuk-Tuks and matatus as the main culprits in carbon emissions.
