Ford-Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula had a slip of the tongue that saw him popularise Azimio la Umoja of Raila Odinga at a Kenya Kwanza alliance rally in Nakuru County.

“I want all of you to support Azimio,” he said.

The Bungoma Senator realised he had made a mistake and quickly corrected himself.

“What I am saying is that you should rally behind our Kenya Kwanza group,” he said.

The lawmaker asserted that Kenya Kwanza under the leadership of Deputy President William Ruto, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and him was the best choice Kenyans.

He stated that the coalition will prioritise working on the economy to improve the livelihoods of Kenyans.

“Our government will care about the common man,” he said.
Earlier this week, another politician allied to Kenya Kwanza also found himself campaigning for Azimio in Western Kenya at DP Ruto’s presence.

Nambale parliamentary aspirant Bernard Nandieki asked the locals for Raila’s Azimio.

“I am appealing to vote for Azimio,” Nandieki said before changing tune very fast.
