Former NTV news anchor Jane Ngoiri and Citizen TV’s Trevor Ombija are known for their close friendship.

The two media personalities have held each other in high esteem for years now.

They once worked together at NTV before Trevor left for Citizen TV.

Today, 9th September, the Citizen news anchor is celebrating his birthday.

His best friend Jane took to her IG to celebrate her ‘Nunurito’, as she always refers to him.

“Happy happy birthday to my Nunurito @trevor_ombija, ” she wrote in part

She confirmed that the birthday boy is “a very important person” in her life.

“Thank you for being a great pillar in my life. Enjoy to the fullest,” she added

Even after Jane left the mainstream media, the two always have time to meet and catch up.

They are, of course, not lovers as Jane is married.

Whenever they are together, it’s all joy and smiles.

It’s evident that they are, indeed, good friends.

“Share your smile with the world…It is a symbol of friendship and peace…” Jane cheered him up.

After she left her anchoring job this year, she took some time to appreciate special people that have been so instrumental in her life so far.

Trevor was at the top of the list.

“Appreciation Day 12: Goes to my Nunurito aka @trevor_ombija …my ride or die…thank you for being a true friend…,” she wrote

Just the other day, Jane confessed that she doesn’t regret leaving the mainstream even a bit.

She stated it was actually the best decision that she has ever made in life.
