Nationwide Curfew Extended By 30 More Days

Ministry of Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe has today, Monday, 4th October announced the extension of the nationwide dusk-to-dawn curfew for a further 30 days.

Speaking during the launch of the Covid-19 Online Information Portal for media professionals in Kenya, Kagwe stated that the time period would be used to vaccinate as many individuals as possible.

The introduction of the covid-19 information portal is aimed at helping the media to disseminate factual and verifiable information to the public and curb the rise of disinformation.

CS Kagwe also announced the ban on public gatherings and political rallies for another 30 days.
