Makena and Silas are on the hunt for a vigilante serial killer.
The second season of the original Kenyan Showmax series, Crime & Justice, is currently available to stream. Our favourite detectives Makena (Sarah Hassan) and Silas (Alfred Munya) find themselves in a bit of a predicament as a serial killer begins hunting the city’s of its most corrupt citizens.
Speaking about the second season Alfred Munyua who plays Silas said of his character, “Silas has found his passion again. He’s dealing with the cases with more heart than in season one, mostly because of his interaction with his partner Makena.”
Additionally Afred is quick to point out that season 2 tackles an entirely different set of issues. “It has a lot of depth and freshness in all aspects, from the script to the blend of seasoned guest stars to a top-notch crew that gets the job done,” Munyua says.
Meanwhile Sarah Hassan who plays Makena is excited about her role this season, ““Knowing her journey this season, I had to do more research to emotionally prepare to be in Makena’s headspace and be able to capture the authenticity of her new journey.”
The first episode features a number of Kenya’s most talented actors including Mumbi Maina and Charles Ouda.
