NSE admits NIC Bank to the derivatives market

The Nairobi Securities Exchange has announced the admission of NIC Bank to the NSE derivatives market (NEXT) as a non-executive member after meeting the exchange’s membership criteria.

In a statement, the NSE says this will help NIC bank offer custodial services to both domestic and foreign investors interested in participating in NSE Derivatives market.NIC will also enhance the settlement of derivatives market for custodial clients.

NEXT is the second derivatives market in Africa offering investors a platform for allocation of capital, diversification of portfolio and risk management.
