The rapper met with IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati.

Octopizzo has shown his support for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) amid the ongoing Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise.
Octopizzo, real name Henry Ohanga, dropped by the IEBC offices yesterday and met with the chairman Wafula Chebukati in a bid to collaborate in mobilising the youth to register as voters ahead of the August general elections.
The news was announced by the IEBC who shared a statement on their social platform.
“Octopizzo paid a courtesy call to the IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati and discussed areas of collaboration in voter education for the youth and enhancement of youth participation in the ongoing Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise,” the commission wrote in a statement.
Octopizzo’s efforts were appreciated by the IEBC who hoped that the move would reduce voter apathy among the youth.
