Omanyala qualifies for the semi finals of 60m

Africa 100m record holder Ferdinand Omanyala reached the semi finals of the 60m race at the ongoing World Indoor Athletics Championship in Serbia after winning his heat 6.62 seconds.

The national record holder will face Nigel Elis of Jamaica,Andrew Robertson of England and USA’s Marvin Bracy in the semi final slated for 8.40pm Kenyan time with the final scheduled 11.20pm.

Kenya Broadcasting Corporation Tv, Channel 1,  is relaying the Championship live from Belgrade.
