Parliament approves two nominees proposed to EACC

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has now been empowered to effectively handle corruption and integrity related issues after parliament approved the two nominees proposed to the commission.

The two presidential nominees Dr Cecicial Mbinya and John Ogallo will now join the Eliud Wabukala led commission to strengthen its capacity to handle individuals with corruption cases and other leadership and integrity issues.

At the same time the speaker of the National Assembly has referred the huduma bill 2021 to the National Assembly Security Committee to for further public participation and  harmonization of proposals before debate on the same is concluded.
