President Kenyatta addresses the nation

President Uhuru Kenyatta is addressing the nation on developments around the country’s strategy to manage the spread of Covid-19.

The address follows a meeting with the National Emergency Response Committee. 

This comes as the country reported 246 new Covid-19 cases Tuesday, pushing the total number of confirmed infections across the country to 32,803. 

According to the Ministry of Health, five new deaths have brought the total number of deaths to 559. There are now at least 19,055 people who have recovered from the virus.
