Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has made news once again after two of his children achieved outstanding marks in the just announced 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.

The politician expressed that his two children, Flavia Shimuli Khalwale and Steven Kapten Khalwale, have made him happy to be a father.

Shimuli, who attended Alliance High School, got an A minus, while Kapten, who attended Kakamega High School, managed a C+ in the national tests announced on today, April 23 by Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha.

“We’re celebrating twin blessings! My family and I, as well as the Alliance Girls High School and Kakamega High School teaching and non-teaching personnel, thank God,” Khalwale penned on his social media accounts.

Shimuli got 75 points overall, with several straight As.

Kapten, on the other hand, scored 47 points overall, earning a B- in English, a B in Kiswahili, a C- in Mathematics, a C- in Biology, a D in Physics, a D+ in Chemistry, a B in History, and a C+ in Business Studies.

This news comes just a month after he claimed that one of his children had performed well in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams.

Melissa Khamwenyi, a student at Kakamega Hill Junior School, got 402 marks out of a possible 500 on the national test.

The former lawmaker is known for praising his children.
