ODM leader Raila Odinga was all smiles after a 10-year-old girl recited a poem a magnificent poem for him in the United Kingdom.

Natasha Macharia to the podium to deliver her poem titled “Raila Kiongozi Mashuhuri” and she did not disappoint.

In her Kiswahili creation, she heaped praises on the former Prime Minister, modeling him as a safe bet for Kenya in the coming presidential election.

She hailed the AU High Commissioner for Roads and Infrastructure for being a change agent in Kenya and beyond.

Natasha highlighted that neo-colonialism would come to an end if Raila’s presidential bid materialises.

After the performance, she received a big round of applause and a standing ovation.

Raila shook her hand and invited her to sit next to him. He engaged her in a lively conversation.

While addressing the forum of Kenyans living in Britain, the former Premier said Natasha was a brilliant girl with a bright future.

He prophesied that she will become an asset for Kenya in the years to come.

“I have met a new friend called Natasha and she is a wonderful girl. She is very bright and intelligent at only 10 years. You can only imagine that in eight years she is going to be a voter and will be making demands from the people of Kenya. All that time she will be expecting that the country will be expecting her.

“With the challenges we have faced, it is actually people like Natasha who keep me going,” he said.
