Rainfall expected over several parts of the Country, with strong easterly to southeasterly winds of over 25 knots (12.5m/s) expected over Turkana and Marsabit counties,

Parts of Samburu and Turkana counties will have sunny intervals the entire day.

According to a statement by the Kenya Meteorological Department released Sunday, parts of Central, Nairobi and Eastern Region will have cloudy conditions with rains over few places in the morning and showers in the afternoon.

The weatherman predicts sunny intervals in the morning in parts of Western, Nyanza, Central and South Rift Valley regions with showers and thunderstorms expected over few places in the afternoon.

In North Eastern region there will be sunny intervals in the morning and showers over few places in the afternoon.

There will be light Showers over few places in the coastal region in the morning with showers and thunderstorms expected over several places in the afternoon.

Machakos, Makueni, Kitui, Taita Taveta and Kajiado will be cloudy with rains over few places expected in the morning.

These places expect showers in the afternoon.
