Raphael Tuju has resigned as Jubilee Party Secretary General.

Speaking at the party’s National Delegates Conference (NDC) at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Tuju said he is considering other political engagements.

He was replaced by Ndaragwa Member of Parliament Jeremiah Kioni who will be deputised by cherangany MP Joshua Kuttuny.

Meanwhile, President Uhuru Kenyatta will remain as Jubilee Party leader as Jimmy Angwenyi replaces Deputy President William Ruto as Deputy Party leader.

Kanini Kega also takes over the new mandate of being Director of Elections while Nelson Dzuya was retained as the party’s chair.
