The newly married man, Julius Owino alias Juliani is fresh from honeymoon with his wife Lillian Ng’ang’a, and he is now manoeuvering to business.
The singer has started at an important note by explaining his ‘vanishing’ in the music scene for the last ten years. He has stated why he had failed to be booked or get endorsements during his time in the woods.
“Okay! Wacha ni open up. Some years ago, even now, I hardly get booked for gigs, so I create my own.
For the last 10 yrs. Please note, I have broken even with a minimum of 3K attendance. Lakini, this time ni soft life, finally booked. Jeshi yangu ya mwambao si tufanye mambo. Some of the reasons why I hardly get booked.
1) Openness to my ideologies.
2) wase waezi afford.
3) assumption on my number.
4) people assume I am “preachy” yet with my live set, I have the most fun. Okay, and a lil preaching! budah! Hakuna noma just saying.” Juliani said.
Juliani then accused the media of giving him cold shoulders by sidelining some of his projects. For this reason, many perceived that Juliani had quit music.
“Been on this for 10 yrs G ni venye had to take time off. Was told about this juzi. Apparently, kulikua na media blackout of my stuff. But iko nini…hivyo hivyo. I am still Juliani.”
Juliani was publicizing his first show after being booked. The show is dubbed Beats and Eats, scheduled for February 12 at Nyali Reef Hotel, Moonshine Beach Bar.
He assured fans of a thrilling performance after dumping his preachy acts on stage.
“Team ni muhimu zaidi funding bora sio grant iwe investment ni better. Hii ni marathon G. Building businesses not trending events. Kwa concert I am not as preachy by the way na understand the assignment. Positively entertain.”
