China’s Realme has already revealed that the new Realme 9 series will be launched in early 2022. Despite rumors of its arrival on the market in February, new information indicates that the Realme 9i variant may have its global debut anticipated in January.
According to leaker Chun, the Realme 9i will be the first cell phone to make up the new intermediate line. Meanwhile, Realme 9 and Realme 9 Pro are expected to be released later due to chip shortages.
For now, the launch of the device has not yet had a defined date. More details are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks through an official announcement from the manufacturer or new leaks.

Possible Realme 9i specs
The Vietnamese Pixel revealed possible details about the Realme 9i. The cell phone can come equipped with Helio G90T from MediaTek, a chipset superior to the predecessor Helio G88, and have configuration options of up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage.
On the front, the model should have a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. The screen also has a cutout in the upper left corner for the front camera with 32 MP sensor.
The Realme 9i can feature a quad rear camera led by a 64 MP main sensor. Furthermore, the model must use a 5,000 mAh battery with possible support for fast charging.
It is worth mentioning that these specification details should be treated as rumours. Before launch, Realme must hold an official event to present the new line of mid-range cell phones.
