Parliament has adopted amendment to house standing order number twenty 20 seeking to protect house leadership and committee chairs from abrupt and unprocedural removal from office by political parties or party leaders. In what appears to be a move to cure recent de-whipping of some rebel house leadership MPs . Law makers say the move will enhance the independence of the house and further streamline parliamentary business.
