Over the past few months, COTU Boss Francis Atwoli has been going around claiming DP Ruto will not in the ballot in 2022. This statement has had a lot of questions being asked just how and what those behind this move plan to do, that will see Ruto not being in the ballot in the next general elections.

However, the Kenyan Report has established indeed the DP might miss on the Jubilee Party ticket as its flag bearer. The plan is on course and is being played by President Uhuru Kenyatta with clinical; execution of strategies.

The Jubilee-KANU post poll merger was not by design. It is the first step to having the DP out of the ruling party. Those involved in this plan, the ‘war council’ headed by President Uhuru’s younger brother Muhoho, want to form a broader coalition that Ruto will not have any say or influence.

The joint unity among party leaders, Uhuru Kenyatta (Jubilee), Raila Odinga (ODM), Gideon Moi (KANU) and Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) aims at creating one coalition towards 2022.

”We are aware that all these machinations are aimed at making sure that Ruto doesnt run on Jubilee Party. They want to enter into coalitions so that they can give a ticket to another person to run for presidency,” Jubilee Deputy SG Caleb Kositany revealed.
