REVEALED: Raila’s plot to support Women Rep Florence Mutua for Busia Governor in 2022

Busia women representative Florence Mutua who is a key ally of opposition Chief Raila Odinga is causing jitters in the male dominated competitive race to succeed Governor Sospeter Ojaamong. Speculations that Raila is most likely to endorse her for the gubernatorial seat is only making things worse to her male competitors.

The firebrand politician famously referred to as ‘’Mama ni Mmoja’’ by her supporters seems to be commanding rapid popularity ahead of the 2022 general elections.

’Yes.@florence-mutua is running for governor, Busia in 2022. And she’s winning’’, predicted Manyora who doubles as a Linguitics lecturer at the University of Nairobi.

Raila Odinga is at the forefront championing for women agenda, something the former premier holds dear. A number of women leaders across the political divided have since rallied behind the ODM leader and the BBI project, since it proposes more seats for women.

Mutua, a staunch Raila supporter says Odinga deserves a stab at the presidency before backing a candidate from Western in 2022.

“My question is…why can’t all endorse Raila and fully support him from their perceived bases?,” asked Mutua.

“Raila will endorse them in 2022 and then bless them with his voters,” she said.
