Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Wanjiru Chege has advised women from Kiambu County to go hard on their men who have been trolling President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In a recent women’s forum organised by Jubilee Party in Thika Sub-County, she lashed out at Kiambu men for advancing hate against the President.

The second-term lawmaker told the women to guide their men as it seems they have lost direction.

“What is wrong with men from Kiambu County? We are looking up to them, but they are leading the rest of the country in insulting the Head of State. You must put some some sense them. Is it that they don’t know the truth or they are ignorant?” she asked.

Sabina insisted that they must be stopped since they will blindly take the Kikuyu community to opposition.

“Even it means denying them conjugal rights, so be it,” she said.

The Woman Rep is among the few elected leaders in the Mt Kenya region who have shown unwavering loyalty to President Kenyatta. Many political leaders in the Mountain have sided with Deputy President William Ruto and dumped Jubilee Party for United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

At the same time, she not afraid to associate herself with the President’s preferred successor, ODM leader Raila Odinga. Even those who are supporting the First in Command, very few want to market the former Prime Minister.

Sabina has become a trusted ally of the ODM chief, a step that almost landed her in trouble after making controversial remarks a few weeks ago.

She claimed that the opposition chief was rigged out in past elections, but this year the “deep state” was on his side.

The electoral commission summoned her to shed light on the utterances, but she got a court injunction to stop the agency from proceeding with her case.
