Sally Wangeci Maingi AKA Empresal was laid to rest today at her parent’s home in Subukia, Nakuru County.

Her body arrived in a chopper during her funeral attended by close family and friends.

She was eulogized as an overlord who had gifted skills in interior design and the hospitality industry.

“Sally’s joyful spirit, giving heart, and warm smile will be deeply missed. We thank God for her life and the genuine affection with which she enveloped all who knew her.” part of the eulogy read.

Further, it narrated how Sally was involved in a ghastly road accident in Nanyuki that saw her hospitalized after sustaining a spine injury.

Failed to find proper medication within the country, Sally opted to seek specialized treatment in India in 2018 and throughout her life after the incident, she has been under medication and in and out of hospitals for back-related complications.

The back problem had never ended and during her last day on earth, she had complained of back pains and was rushed to hospital where she collapsed and pronounced dead thereafter on December 12, 2021.

Media personalities like Kiss 100 presenter Jalang’o, socialite Vera Sidika, and Amber Ray had taken to social media to celebrate the life of a close friend and even shared their last photos with her.

Yes, I didn’t believe you are dead and I will never come to terms with your death! Wake up, my dear friend! RIP Sally.” Read the message from Jalang’o.

Sally is survived by three children.
