Days after city politician Karen Nyamu accused her baby daddy Samuel Muchoki, popularly known as Samidoh, of assaulting her, the Mugithi maestro has released a new banger.

The song titled Muthoniwa (in-law) was published on Friday, 13th August, and has amassed over 194,000 views.

In a nutshell, the singer is praising this lady from the Ukambani region for accepting his marriage proposal.

“We are going to be in-laws. I didn’t know our love would get here, but I’m grateful for the far we’ve come,” he sings in one of the stanzas.

Then came the part where the in-laws from the Kikuyu community were going to meet their counterparts in Ukambani for the traditional wedding.

Samidoh was represented by comedian and actor Terence Creative. Although Terence’s age does not qualify him to be an elder, he was able to perfect the role of an elderly man.

On the other hand, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka acted as the bride’s father.

Kalonzo approved their marriage and gave them parental blessings.

The climax of the dummy ceremony was a dance where the Wiper boss swung to the rhythm like a young man.

Lately, the former Prime Minister has featured in several artworks as an actor.

Meanwhile, some Kenyans are convinced that the recent claims by Nyamu were meant to create publicity before the release of the song.

The lawyer threatened to take the father of her son to court for beating her and inflicting injuries on her face.

She alleged that the musician attacked her for spending last weekend with another man at the Coast.

In recent months, clout chasing by celebrities before launching has project has been on the surge.
