Fourteen revellers have been placed in mandatory quarantine at the Nyandarua Boys’ High School after they were arrested flouting the curfew order.The 12 men and two women, who will also foot the cost of the quarantine, were rounded up from various places across Nyandarua Central subcounty while drinking past 7pm.
County commissioner Boaz Cherutich, while regretting that the residents had devised ways to beat the order, said that the revellers were compromising the efforts by administrators in fighting the spread of the Covid-9 disease.They were arrested at Paradise Bar in Kihoto area in Mirangine subcounty be placed on quarantine for 14 days.
