Celebrated gospel artiste Evelyn Wanjiru and her husband Agundabweni Akweyu are celebrating 10 years of marriage with a big blessing on the way.
After a decade of trusting God for a child, Wanjiru and Agundabweni are finally pregnant.
The singer on Tuesday, April 12, shared with her online family that soon she is going to be a mother to a promise child.
She could not resist showing off her baby bump.
The Waweza (You Can) hitmaker made the big reveal in a stunning photo in which her husband was cutely holding her growing belly. She was rocking a white dress.
The caption moved fellow celebrities and fans to tears of joy. It was beautiful testimony.
“Today my heart is full of Joy and gratitude. As I write this, my eyes are full of tears. I have been waiting for this season for 10 years in my Marriage. A blessed womb, God has fulfilled,” she wrote, mirroring her story to that of Biblical Hannah, whom the Lord had closed her womb.
The singer revealed that she truly waited for this moment and never ceased to pray, adding that faith and believing that God never fails His people kept her going.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this but I was hungry enough to wait for that promise to be manifested in my life.”
