The event was part of Kenya Breweries Limited’s Chrome brand campaign.

Sol Generation hitmakers Nviiri the Storyteller and Bensoul this weekend headlined KBL’s Chrome event dubbed Street Filosofia that was held at Club Duos. The campaign’s purpose is to shine a spotlight on different neighbourhoods in Kenya and highlight their uniqueness.
The event was the fourth instalment of the Sherehe Mtaani series which has so far been to 4 other towns in the country: Nyeri, Thika, Nakuru and Kisumu in a campaign that also seeks to appreciate consumers for their loyalty to the brand as well as the neighbourhoods they come from.
Bensoul gave a scintillating performance of his hit songs “Favorite Song”, “Gloomy Morning”, “I Only Wanna Give It To You”, “Ningependa Nikuchukie”, “Not Ready”, “Rastafari”, and “That Bell”.
He was later joined on stage by fellow Sol Generation act Nviiri the Storyteller to perform some of their collaborations including “Nairobi” and “Summer Bunny”. Nviiri also performed his hit songs “Nikita”, “Niko Sawa”, “Sorry” and “Pombe Sigara”.
Speaking about the campaign Chrome brand manager said, “Street Filosofia is a campaign that celebrates the strong affiliation and pride of the streets where our consumers come from. The campaign creatively connects with our consumers by cementing Chrome as a champion of the vibrancy, the energy, the spontaneity and the Philosophy of the Kenyan street culture. The Chrome Street Filosofia campaign continues to pick up steam with more events coming up for Sherehe Mtaani in Meru, as well as opportunities for supporters of the brand to showcase what makes their neighbourhoods unique.”
