Russian side Spartak Moscow has made fun of Spanish giants FC Barcelona over their ongoing crisis.

On Monday, the world experience a social media outage where Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp were not working.

Spartak Moscow took the advantage and made a joke out of it while mentioning Barca.

In a post on its Twitter account, Spartak Moscow said: “Even Barcelona is not that down right now as all these social networks.”

The club has had a difficult summer after losing Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann to PSG and Atletico Madrid respectively. They are currently ninth in the table with 12 points from seven league matches. The team has also had their worst ever start to a Champions League campaign.

Barcelona are ninth in La Liga after winning just three of their opening seven games, with Ronald Koeman under intense pressure to keep his job as head coach.

The club is still struggling with financial debts amounting to more than £1bn.

Koeman was appointed as Barca manager last season, replacing Quique Setien, who stayed at Camp Nou for only seven months after taking over from Ernesto Valverde.
