Village Economic Empowerment (VEE) is an establishment of AVC Kenya. It has been operational since August 2012. VEE’s main objective is to form an independent, self reliant and sustaining society through training, equipping and empowering the marginalised groupings, youth, women and local communities. Our focus is mainly on areas where poverty, illiteracy and healthcare are a major concern. We have our presence throughout Kenya, and in our neighboring countries, i.e. Uganda, Rwanda and Malawi. We train communities on the best practices to scale up their economic activities, eradicating illiteracy through pre schools and learning centres for children and adult education, addressing healthcare issues by organising workshop and providing medical health covers.

Job Description

Salary Scale: KES 25,000 Before Probation, KES 28,000 After Probation

Village Economics Empowerment  is a non-governmental organization working with child sponsorship programs in the country our main goal is to empower the families of the children that are being sponsored through economic empowerment ventures.Currently they  are looking to fill in the position Sponsorship program Administrator.

The basic requirements are:

  • Must have a minimum diploma in Social studies  or community development
  • Must have worked in community projects or have experience of the same
  • Must have knowledge of donor proposal drafting and have experience of successful applications
  • Must be able to relate with Marginalized and rural communities and willing to work in such environments
  • Must be a lady
  • Must reside in Nairobi

  • Accounting Knowledge
