SportPesa CEO Karauri to Run For Kasarani MP Seat

The Chief Executive Officer of SportPesa betting company, Ronald Karauri has declared interest in the Kasarani parliamentary seat.

Karauri announced his political bid on Wednesday, 9th February in Kasarani during the handing over of maternity equipment donated by SportPesa Foundation to several health centres including Njiru Level 4 Hospital.

”Kasarani does not lack leaders, there are leaders here. It reaches a point when one needs to change. The people of Kasarani have asked me to be their MP and I have accepted the challenge,” he declared.

“I am certain that in August, the next member of parliament for Kasarani will be Ronald Karauri.”

Karauri urged Kasarani residents to vote for leaders who will transform their lives.

The former Kenya Airways pilot will seek to unseat incumbent MP Mercy Gakuya who was elected on a Jubilee ticket in 2017.

Karauri is yet to declare the party he will be contesting under for the seat also being eyed by veteran rapper Jackson Ngechu Makini popularly known as Prezzo.
