NAIROBI, Kenya July 29 – Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed’s husband is dead.

Khalid Ahmed died at the Karen hospital on Thursday morning after a short illness, a government official close to her told Capital Fm but there was no immediate statement from the family.

He was set to be buried later Thursday afternoon in line with the Muslim culture.

Ahmed has not been in the public limelight, but he is said to be a businessman.
