Omar is said to have given differing accounts of Tecra’s death
Omar Lali, the boyfriend to the late Keroche Breweries Heiress Tecra Muigai has been charged with murder in a Lamu Court.
Omar, 54 will take a murder plea tomorrow Tuesday. Homicide detectives have been probing claims that Omar may have pushed Tecra who was the Strategy and Innovation Director at Keroche Breweries to her death in May.
An autopsy report revealed Tecra Muigai died of injuries she sustained on the left side of her head.
Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor said the injuries were consistent with a fall down the stairs.

The Keroche Heiress was found unconscious at a private house in Shella, Lamu Island where she was living with Omar Lali.
She was rushed to a local dispensary and later airlifted to Nairobi for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries. This led to the arrest of her boyfriend and his subsequent detention for 21 days to enable police to complete investigations.
Omar was later freed after the court declined an application by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to have him detained for one more week.
Omar has maintained his innocence saying he loved Tecra and there was no way he could have hurt her.
Lamu law courts principal magistrate Allan Temba made the ruling via a video link on Monday.
He said there was substantive evidence that the death of the late Tecra was not accidental.
