The purge to get rid of the Deputy President William Ruto and his allies from top positions before the 2022 general elections seems to have intensified after flamboyant businessman and political activist Tony Gachoka came out to mock at DP Ruto.
Taking to his twitter account on Sunday morning, the KTN TV political talk-show host, who is also a close ally to the ODM party leader Raila Odinga, advised Ruto together with his brigade to start looking for votes outside Mt. Kenya and stop believing that GEMA nation was going to support Ruto’s bid in 2022.
While reminding him that most of Mount Kenya voters do not live in twitter (where Ruto and his allies have pitched camp) nor attend any political meetings, Gachoka said Ruto’s supporters were being disillusioned with his misfortunes annd believinng that Ruto was going to be the president in 2022.
“98% OF MY PEOPLE – THE Gema NATION – ARE NOT ON TWITTER AND DON’T EVEN ATTEND ANY POLITICAL MEETINGS. DP RUTO; YOUR SUPPORTERS ARE DREAMING COS OF BEING DISILLUSIONED WITH YOUR MISFORFOTUNES. LOOK FOR SUPPORT OUTSIDE MT. http://KENYA.TG. Cc, Uhuru @StateHouseKenya” read Gachoka’s tweet.
Gachoka’s tweet comes just a day after the vocal political host sent a heartwarming message to Raila Odinga, expressing his happiness on the unfolding of events inside the ruling party Jubilee.
While reminding Raila of how the Jubilee party had allegedly stole his elections in 2017, Gachoka, who has been so vocal against Ruto and his allies stated that they had revenged by stealing back President Uhuru Kenyatta from Ruto’s camp.
“Baba @RailaOdinga from TG “They stole the Presidency, we stole the President”! Enjoy am happy! Its Point-blank. Cc, Uhuru @StateHouseKenya https://pic.twitter.com/ewZCkmjJor,” read Gachoka’s tweet.
Gachoka’s suggestive remarks came just a day after he hit back at the ousted former Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen telling him off over his usual biblical quotes.
TG, as he calls himself, reminded Murkomen that he was nowhere near Jesus reminding him that politics was not a religion and that his usual quoting of the bible was just overwhelming him.
“FORMER Majority Leader LISTEN: You are nowhere near Jesus by any measure of VIRTUE this NEW increase in bible reading is obviously overwhelming you. POLITICS IS NOT RELIGION. You got thumped by @Ken_Lusaka as: Brutus slew Julius Caesar in Shakespeare’s drama Act 2 scene 3 period!” tweeted Gachoka.
