Top KCPE 2021 student wants to be a Robotic Engineer

The to student in 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations, Magata Bruce Mackenzie wants to be a Robotic Engineer.

Mackenzie from Gilgil Hills Academy scored 428 marks.

He was closely followed by Ashley Kerubo from Makini School Kibos with 427 marks.

In an interview by KBCChannel1 Tuesday morning, Mackenzie said his favorite subjects were Maths, Science, he also enjoyed writing Compositions and Inshas.

His dream secondary school is Alliance Boys High School.

During his leisure time the top student in the country says he enjoys drawing cartoons.

“Put God first, sacrifice, put extra effort.” said Mackenzie.

Mackenzie’s father noted that his son has been a good student but emerging top student in the nation has come as a shocker.

Being a teacher the father has played a role in his journey since he has had an understanding of how teaching takes place, was able to source material for revision and access most appropriate for him.

“As parents we providing resources required that is, books, guided and canceled him among other things.” Said Mackenzie’s father.

To get results candidates are encouraged to SMS index numbers to 20076 followed by KCPE.
