Uhuru Reshuffles His Cabinet, See All Changes

President Uhuru Kenyatta has made new changes to his cabinet, but retained all the Ministers.

Eugine Wamalwa is now the new Cabinet Secretary for Defence, taking over from Monica Juma, who has been moved to the Energy docket.

Cabinet Secretary Charles Keter, who headed the Energy Ministry will succeed Wamalwa in Devolution.

Public Service and Gender CS Prof Margaret Kobia has not transfered to another Ministry, but now has added roles. The Social Citizen Affairs and Special Programmes departments have been put under her management.

Several Principal Secretaries have not been re-assigned.

Maj. Gen. (RTD) Kihalangwa has been moved to the Ministry of Energy while Joseph Njoroge is now the PS for State Department for transport.

The new PS of State Department for public work is Solomon Kitungu, with Nelson Marwa now placed under the State Department for Social Protection, Senior Citizens Affairs and Special Programmes.

Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua said the changes take effect immediately.
