President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of goodwill to all Kenyans as Christians celebrate the Easter holiday.

In his message on Sunday, 17th April, the Head of State said that it was a special time, especially for Christians when they remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“Therefore, as we enter into the Easter season this year, let’s once again remember that it is a season for sacrificing ourselves, the same season that Jesus Christ was sacrificed for the sake of our sins and peace,” the President stated.

President Kenyatta urged those celebrating the season to be considerate to the less fortunate.

“Let us deliberately make it our responsibility to spread love by extending a helping hand to the need this Easter season,” he added.

President Kenyatta called for unity and oneness that binds Kenyans together as they continue building the nation.

“I send you this message of goodwill and best wishes, praying that we will continue with the unity and oneness that binds us together so that we will continue building our country to become a respected nation,” the President said.
