I completed my high school at Nkhatabay Boys Secondary School with distinction grades.

My dream is to study developmental economics or business administration at any university.

During my high school I was sponsored by Johnson Arkim from Canada because my parents could not afford to pay my school fees.

Now the death of Johnson has made me stuck. Nowhere to go since 2013 I’m in village warmongering.

I am currently in my second year of studying at university. I am doing a three year degree which will give me a Bcom Accounting Degree.

For my first year of study I had taken a student loan. This year all my student loan applications were rejected as the only person in my family that had a good credit rating did now also fall under those that have bad credit ratings.

So now am still attending classes but I know I wont be able to pay my fees by the due date.

I am looking for a scholarship to study abroad as it was always my dream to go overseas but I could never afford that.

I wish to continue my studies overseas as I love other cultures and experiencing life in different countries.

I am therefore looking for universities or companies that will aid in getting me into a good university abroad to continue my studies with a fully paid scholarship.

My country Liberia is considered as one of the world’s poorest country by today’s standards; I have to be mature quickly and learned at a young age what responsibility means.

By this age twenty five (25), I could change diapers and take care of babies and be a mother of children with no one to help me in fending for them but I have muttered the courage to learn and advance myself so as to be the future leader that tomorrow the world at large will boast of.

Other young adolescent girls look at me as, some might say, “role model”, although my own dad has always been an important part of my live but he is dead and gone.

Unfortunately, my mother is an illiterate woman, she travel to the United States my entire life to take care of my oldest sister children as she go to work to fend for the family at large.

Both of my parents have provided a safe, secure, and loving home yet, having such a large family, my parents have not been able to save for our college education.

However, it has always been my intent to learn the best way and it should not be my parents/guardians responsibility.

Therefore, I need admission/scholarship to help further my education without creating a financial burden for my parents.

I know that they will do whatever they can to see that I reach my goal and they will make any sacrifice.

But, I want to do this without asking them. I have always been involved in schooling and working activities, it has being my favorite but I need to have an outside experience to teach me the most discipline.

I have to strive in achieving the best, so it is very important that I take the time to reach out to what I can achieve.

But, what is most important is that I be a positive role model and show them that hard work and determination are the keys, and a college education is the door to success.
