Mutemi was speaking in Garissa on Tuesday after handing over a certificate of incorporation to newly registered NGO, ‘Vision Together Foundation’.

The NGO aims to provide basic needs to unprivileged members of communities.

“I am warning any NGO in this region operating without a certificate. We will find you and you will face the law. Those that do not share what they do with us, or file their returns, we are still tracking them,” Mutemi said

“Our mandate is to help NGO’s and coordinate with them. Our offices are open for those who want to register their organizations,” he added

Mutemi called on other CBOs, women and men groups willing to register as NGOs to come forward and apply for incorporations, noting that the Board was ready to assist any organization that would want to help the needy in Society.

Vision Together Foundation’s Secretary, Patrick Mwendwa, said the organization has already identified over 13,000 children in different counties for school sponsorships.
